Wild Welsh Clay Range- Ammanford Red Clay Decorated Rustic Tumblers

£25.00

Handmade and unique coffee tumblers on toasty buff clay, decorated with a deep burgundy red clay stripe, foraged by hand from Mynydd Y Betws in South Wales. Rustic off-white glazed interior and lip.

I’ve left the lower portion of these unglazed to better see, and feel, the raw wild clay slip. This clay slip was collected locally to my studio in Ammanford. It came out of the ground yellow and full of twigs and grass, went bright orange during the bisque firing, and a deep burgundy red during the stoneware firing.

A lovely addition to your morning routine, perfect for a flat-white sized coffee. You could even use it as a succulent planter, there are no rules.

3 of these are left, each one made to be unique, not made to be a matching set.

Microwave and dishwasher safe, although handwashing hand made pottery is always best.
